In the 1980s I left my home in Lancashire to study Fashion & Textiles at Liverpool's John Moores University. After obtaining my degree I worked briefly as a designer for Courtaulds overseas and then returned to Liverpool to train as a teacher of art. My last teaching post was at the Oldershaw Academy in Wallasey on the Wirral peninsula.

I now spend my time travelling and painting.
